Determining paired/connected devices on a computer
Which operating system is being used?
macOS 10.5 or later
To determine the Bluetooth® devices that have been paired and which ones are connected, follow these steps:
- Click the Apple icon in the top left corner of the screen
- In the Apple menu, click "System Preferences..."
- In the Internet & Wireless section click the "Bluetooth" icon
- Under to the name of the device it will indicate either “Connected” or “Not Connected”

To determine the Bluetooth® devices that have been paired and which ones are connected, follow these steps:
- In the search box on the taskbar, enter the term view devices
- In the search results, select Device and Printers at the top
- In the Devices and Printers window, double-click on the device you would like more information on
The following screen will indicate if the Bluetooth device is connected and what services it can provide. You can connect (if not already) to each service independently by pressing the connect button next to the service
