Confirm the headset is connected to the Bluetooth® device.

Power on the headset, then press any button to view the Bluetooth and battery lights. If the Bluetooth light is flashing or not lit, the headset is not connected. Try reconnecting the headset in the Bluetooth settings of the device. If is still doesn't connect, see Cannot connect a Bluetooth® device.

Raise the ringtone volume on the phone.

If the headset does not receive a specific ringtone from the phone, it will play a two note ringtone for incoming calls. Be sure the ringtone volume setting is not too low or muted. On some phones, ringtone volume can only be adjusted when no other audio is playing through the phone.

Keep your product within 33 feet (10 meters) of your personal device.

Distance and obstacles like walls, doors, or other electronics can weaken the Bluetooth signal. If you're having trouble, try moving your personal device and product closer together or relocating other devices that may cause interference.

Reboot the connected device.

Electronics might need to be reset from time-to-time—much like rebooting a computer. Power off the device, then power it back on and try again.

Try connecting a different Bluetooth device.

If your Bose product can connect to another device, Bluetooth functionality is working. In cases like this, the issue could be with the first device or its settings.
