Companion® 2 Series II multimedia speaker system | Sound is not heard from all speakers

There are no balance controls on your Bose product.

Volume from the left and right speakers cannot be adjusted.

Try connecting a different audio device.

If available, connect another audio device using the same cables and connections to determine if the issue is related to the first device or its settings.

Try a different app.

If the issue only occurs with a particular app, it is likely related to the app or app settings.

Try playing different types of media.

Different media types might produce different quality sound. For example, Podcasts, music stored locally on your phone, MP3s, streaming music services (Spotify, Pandora), videos on your device or stored in the cloud, etc. can all vary in quality. Try different media to determine if the issue is specific to certain media.

Try playing a song from artist, collection or music service.

Some media might be made for one speaker (i.e. old recordings or some news or voice recordings). Try a different track, like a newer pop song, and listen for a difference.

Try another input on the Bose system.

The input may be defective; try another input (it is ok to use a different type of input, for example analog instead of digital or digital coax instead of digital optical). If the problem only occurs on one input, that input may be defective. Follow the link below for more information on how to service your product. Depending on your product and region, you will be provided a contact number or the ability to setup service online.
