Cannot connect a Bluetooth device | Bose SoundLink Home Bluetooth Speaker
Reboot the Bluetooth device
Electronics might need to be reset on occasion to correct minor issues. This is typically done by turning the device off, then powering it on again.
Clear your Bose product memory of previously-connected Bluetooth devices
Your Bose product remembers the last several devices it connected to, allowing for quick reconnection. If you experience an issue with device memory, you may need to clear it by pressing and holding the Bluetooth button for 15 seconds or until you hear the voice prompt, then try to reconnect. You might also need to remove the product from the Bluetooth settings on your device.
Try connecting a different Bluetooth device.
If your Bose product can connect to another device, Bluetooth functionality is working. In cases like this, the issue could be with the first device or its settings.
When you press the Bluetooth® button on your speaker, what does the voice prompt say?
"Ready to connect another device"
Your Bose product is ready to connect to a Bluetooth® device.
This light status means your Bose product is in Discoverable mode, which lets Bluetooth devices find it and connect to it.
Select your Bose product on the Bluetooth® device you are trying to connect.
On the Bluetooth® device, go to the Bluetooth settings menu and select your Bose product. You might need to tap a Refresh or Add button to get your product to appear. For more help connecting, see Connecting a Bluetooth® device.
Check if the Bluetooth® device is connected to another product.
The Bluetooth device might not connect to your Bose product if it is already connected to another product. Go to the Bluetooth settings on the device, disconnect any connected products, then try connecting your Bose product.

This light status means your Bose product automatically connected to previously-connected device. You product remembers the last several connected devices and will automatically reconnect to them in order of last connected.
Check if the Bluetooth® device is connected to another product.
The Bluetooth device might not connect to your Bose product if it is already connected to another product. Go to the Bluetooth settings on the device, disconnect any connected products, then try connecting your Bose product.

- Press and hold the Bluetooth button for 10 seconds until you hear “Bluetooth device list cleared” and the Power light blinks white twice.
- The Bluetooth light blinks blue.
- Delete the speaker from your device’s Bluetooth settings.
Try connecting a different Bluetooth device.
If your Bose product can connect to another device, Bluetooth functionality is working. In cases like this, the issue could be with the first device or its settings.
