Cannot connect a Bluetooth device | Bose SoundLink Plus Portable Speaker
Reboot your personal device.
Restart your device (smartphone, tablet, or computer) by turning it off for 30 seconds and then turning it back on to fix any temporary Bluetooth or audio issues.
Reset your product.
A reset refreshes your speaker's internal settings and can help fix minor issues.
- Press and hold the Power
button for 15 seconds.
- The speaker will power off and automatically turn back on.
Your previously connected devices will not be removed.
Clear and re-pair your speaker.
If there’s an issue with the device memory, clearing the pairing list may help. To do this:
- Remove your speaker from the paired devices on your phone, tablet, or computer.
- Press and hold the Bluetooth button
until you hear "Bluetooth device list cleared."
- Select your speaker from the available devices and tap Pair or Connect.
Check for and install any available product updates

Try connecting a different Bluetooth device.
If your Bose product can connect to another device, Bluetooth functionality is working. In cases like this, the issue could be with the first device or its settings.
