Sound is not heard from all speakers | Free Space® 51 outdoor speakers
Be sure the proper speakers are selected.
Many receivers have outputs for "A Speakers" and "B Speakers." If the Bose speakers are connected to a set of outputs that are not selected, they will not play
Check the balance level on your receiver.
The receiver balance level may be adjusted incorrectly. Be sure it is set to a middle level.
Use the speaker test tone feature on the receiver.
Many home theater receivers have feature, often called "Test Tone," that plays sound through one speaker at a time. Check for this feature (or one with a similar name) in the receiver menu and, if available, select it. During the test, if one or more speakers are not heard, check the connections to the speakers. If all the speakers are heard as expected during the test, the issue is not with the speakers, speaker wiring or speaker connections on the receiver.
Check the condition of the speaker wires and be sure they are secure at both ends.
Check the speaker wires for any kinks, scratches, cuts or damage. Replace any damaged wires and check that they are securely connected at both ends.
Switch the speaker wires on the output of the receiver.
At the back of the receiver, switch the connection of the speaker wire that may not be working properly with one that is working properly. If the problem stays with the same speaker, the speaker wire is defective. Replace the speaker wire. If the problem does not stay with the same speaker, contact the manufacturer of the receiver for assistance
