Setting and using presets | Bose Home Speaker 300
How do you want to store the preset?
Using the buttons on the product
Set presets using the buttons on your product.
While music is playing, touch and hold the desired preset number on the top of the system until the light bar on the front of the system stops glowing and a tone is heard.
Using the Bose app
To set a preset using the Bose app:
- In the Bose app, play the content you want to store as a preset
- Tap the Favorites icon
at the bottom-center of the screen
- Below Presets, swipe side-to-side to find the preset number you want to set
- Touch and hold on the desired preset tile number until the tile is filled with the content name or image.
Some things to know about presets:
- Presets are stored to individual products. If you have multiple products, each can have unique presets
- If you ask a voice assistant to play a music service, that service cannot be set as a preset since it is accessed through the voice assistant. Instead, add the service to the Bose app (if available), then you can store the service as a preset
- If a product is shared with multiple Bose accounts, shared account users can change the product presets
- If a shared user presets a music service with their paid subscription, other users who don't have that paid subscription can access the preset. However, if the user with the subscription removes the product from their Bose account, shared users will no longer have access to that preset
