Product does not power on with battery power | SoundLink® Air digital music system
Check if the battery is charged.
Be sure the battery is not depleted. For more information, see Checking the remaining battery charge.
Connect the product to AC power.
If the speaker is disconnected from AC power and unused for 14 days or more, it enters a protection mode to preserve battery power. This is typically the case with new products removed from the box. To reactivate the speaker, connect it to AC power.
If connected, disconnect the USB cable from the back of the product.
If the battery enters protection mode, the product not power on with a USB cable connected.
Reattach the battery to the system, disconnect the power cord and perform a system update.
The battery may be stuck in protection mode. It can only be taken out of this mode by removing the battery and reapplying AC power
- If the system remains on after disconnecting power, there is no issue with the battery.
- If the system turns off after disconnecting power cord with the battery properly attached then there is an issue with the battery and it will need to be replaced. Click Start Repair or Replacement below to explore your available options
Reset your product.
