Speaker placement and positioning | 701® Series II speakers

Placement Suggestions:

  1. The speakers should be placed 6 to 15 feet apart.
  2. There should be a distance of at least 1 foot between the speakers and the outside walls.
  3. The speakers should be at least 10 inches away from the back wall.
  4. The speakers are not magnetically shielded, and should be placed at least 18 to 24 inches away from a monitor.
    Note: Only CRT style TVs are affected. This includes tube-style TVs and Rear Projections with CRTs

Placement Suggestions:

  1. If used as a front speaker, the speaker should be placed at ear level, 4 to 12 feet apart
  2. If used as a rear surround speaker, the speaker should be positioned behind the listeners, 4 to 12 feet apart
  3. If used with a surround sound receiver, connect the subwoofer cable to the receiver and set the receiver's subwoofer setting to On or Yes
  4. They should be within 18 inches of a back wall
  5. They are not magnetically shielded, and need to be 18 to 24 inches away from a monitor
