Speaker placement and positioning | 701® Series II speakers
Placement Suggestions:
- The speakers should be placed 6 to 15 feet apart.
- There should be a distance of at least 1 foot between the speakers and the outside walls.
- The speakers should be at least 10 inches away from the back wall.
- The speakers are not magnetically shielded, and should be placed at least 18 to 24 inches away from a monitor.
Note: Only CRT style TVs are affected. This includes tube-style TVs and Rear Projections with CRTs
Placement Suggestions:
- If used as a front speaker, the speaker should be placed at ear level, 4 to 12 feet apart
- If used as a rear surround speaker, the speaker should be positioned behind the listeners, 4 to 12 feet apart
- If used with a surround sound receiver, connect the subwoofer cable to the receiver and set the receiver's subwoofer setting to On or Yes
- They should be within 18 inches of a back wall
- They are not magnetically shielded, and need to be 18 to 24 inches away from a monitor
