ADAPTiQ system setup and deactivation | Lifestyle® 38 DVD home entertainment system
To run the ADAPTiQ audio calibration system:
Before you begin, be sure the speakers are connected placed where you want them.
- On the system console, insert disc 1 of the ADAPTiQ audio calibration kit
- On the remote control, press the CD-DVD button
- When prompted, remove disc 1 and insert disc 2. (Tip: If the on-screen instructions do no appear on your TV, be sure the correct TV input is selected)
- When prompted, connect the ADAPTiQ headset to the Audio IN jacks in the AUX section on the back of the system console. (If a device is connected to AUX, disconnect it until calibration is complete)
- Put the ADAPTiQ headset on your head. (Tip: Be sure the L and R letters on the headset are above your left and right ears)
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete calibration
Turn off the ADAPTiQ system by following these steps:
These steps will erase ADAPTiQ settings. To re-enable ADAPTiQ, re-run the ADAPTiQ setup disc and follow the instructions to calibrate your system.
- On the remote control, press the Stored button. (Note: This is only necessary for software versions earlier than 02.01.01)
- Press the System button
Tip: If the system menu does not appear on your TV, be sure the correct TV input is selected - Scroll right to select Audio
- Scroll down to ADAPTiQ
- Scroll right to select the current setting
- Scroll up or down to select Off
- On the system console, press the Erase button.
