Entering CD information manually | 3·2·1® GSX Series III DVD home entertainment system

1. Power on your system and TV
2. On the remote control, press the System button
   Tip: If the system menu does not appear on your TV, be sure the correct TV input is selected
3. Using the arrow buttons on the remote, select the Stored Music icon
4. Scroll down to CD#
5. Press the Right button to highlight the CD number
6. Scroll up or down to select the CD number you want to edit, then press the Enter button
   Tip: If you don't know the CD number, you can view the CD info within the Library menu
7. Edit the CD info:
   • Scroll to and option (i.e. Genre, Album, Artist, Track, etc.), then press the Right arrow to select the current setting and the Enter button to edit it
   • An onscreen keyboard will appear when you press the Enter button to edit an album or artist name. Once entered, select Done on the keyboard
   • The File Artist As option lets you decide how the system will list the artist alphabetically
   • When you highlight Track Action, you can select Edit for actions that affect only that track, like deleting it
8. Power off your system for two minutes to save the changes. If power is interrupted during this time, the changes might not be saved.

3. Using the arrow buttons on the remote, highlight the album, track, artist, playlist or uStation preset that you want to edit
4. Press the Guide button to see the available actions
5. Highlight Edit Name, then press the Right button to view the Edit screen
6. Use the arrow buttons to move around the keyboard and press the Enter button to select a button on the keyboard
7. Once complete, power off your system for two minutes to save the changes. If power is interrupted during this time, the changes might not be saved.

Tips for editing CD information

• A Playlist or uStation preset name can be a maximum of 16 characters
• If an album name begins with a number, it will sort alphabetically by the first letter in the album title
• To add characters to the text line, highlight a character and press the Enter button
• To delete the last character from the top line, highlight the Erase bar and press the Enter button. The blank moves left and deletes a character with each press of the button
• To toggle bewteen capital and lowercase letters, highlight the Shift bar and press the Enter button
• To add a space between words, highlight the Space bar and press the Enter button
• To add a number, move left and down to the Numbers & Symbols keyboard and select the number
• To add an accented letter, move left and down to the Special Characters keyboard and select the letter
• To save your edits, highlight Save and press the Enter button
• To exit the edit screen without saving, highlight Cancel and press the Enter button
