Lifestyle® SoundTouch® 535 system | Using another remote to control your Bose system
To use a learning remote with a Lifestyle System, follow these steps:
- On the system console, press the Setup button. (Tip: If the system menu does not appear on your TV, be sure the correct TV input is selected)
- On the remote control, scroll down to select Teach mode, then press the OK button
- Hold the learning remote near the system console, then follow the instructions for the learning remote to teach it commands
- Once complete, press the Setup button on the system console

The system's control console houses four IR emitters positioned at various angles behind the plastic panel to the left of the button panel cover. An IR receiver is also located in the same area. The plastic panel does not impede with the IR signals passing to and from this location
