Wearing the headset properly
Proper fit on your head is important for comfort and effective noise reduction:
A low rumbling sound or frequent, brief losses of noise reduction may indicate an improper fit or blocked earcup ports
Microphone placement
Microphone placement is important for clear communication. With the headset on your head, make these adjustments:
- Use the left (L) and right (R) markings inside the earcups to orient the headset
- As you put the headset on, adjust each ear cup so the ear cushions completely surround your ear
- Adjust the headband slides so the headband cushion and Bose logo rest centered on top of your head

- Grasp the boom with your fingers and move the microphone so it is level with your mouth
- Position the microphone a 1/2" from your mouth with the Bose logo facing away from your mouth
- Do not purse your lips
