Resetting your product | Bose Videobar VB1
Do you want to reset your product or restore its default settings?
- Reset: A reset corrects minor processors errors. Unless indicated otherwise, product settings are not lost during a reset.
- Restore factory settings: This resets your product to its factory default configuration. Unless indicated otherwise, all settings are cleared and reverted to their original out-of-box state. After, your product can be configured as if it were being setup for the first time.
Reset the videobar using the onboard controls.
- Disconnect the power cord from the videobar.
- When power is reconnected, wait 30 seconds for the system to reboot.
To reset the videobar to its factory default settings using the onboard controls:
- Press and hold the Mute button and the Bluetooth button on the videobar simultaneously for 5 seconds.
- The light bar will pulse white repeatedly. The lights will then move outward from the center until the whole light bar is lit solid white and then turn off in the same pattern. When this process is completed, the VB1 will restart with its factory default settings.
To reset the videobar using the remote control:
- Press and hold the Home button and Autoframe buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds.
- The light bar will pulse white repeatedly. The lights will then move outward from the center until the whole light bar is lit solid white and then turn off in the same pattern. When this process is completed, the VB1 will restart with its factory default settings.
