Resetting your product | Lifestyle® 650 home entertainment system
Do you want to reset your product or restore its default settings?
- Reset: A reset corrects minor processors errors. Unless indicated otherwise, product settings are not lost during a reset.
- Restore factory settings: This resets your product to its factory default configuration. Unless indicated otherwise, all settings are cleared and reverted to their original out-of-box state. After, your product can be configured as if it were being setup for the first time.
To reset your Bose system:
- Power on both the TV and your Bose system.
- On the system console, simultaneously press and hold the SOURCE and POWER buttons for 5 seconds until the TV and the Bose system power off.
Tip: If the white light is still lit on the Bose console, try again. - Wait for the light on the Bose console to blink amber, then press the POWER button to power on the system. The light flashes amber, then white while the system turns on and reboots.
- Once the light on the Bose console glows white, wait 10 seconds and then resume normal use.
To reset the bass module:
- Disconnect the power cord from the bass module.
- Wait for 30 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to the bass module.
- Wait 15 seconds for the bass module reconnect to the control console.
To restore the factory default settings:
Note: With the exception of the ADAPTiQ audio calibration settings, this reset erases all settings and returns your system to its default out-of-box state.
- Turn on the TV and your system.
- On the system console, simultaneously press-and-hold the Source and Setup buttons for 10 seconds until the console light blinks.
- Wait until the console light begins an amber blink pattern (on for five seconds, off for one second), then press the Power button.
- Wait for the system to power on and show Press the OK button on your TV.
Tip: If you press OK and the next screen does not appear, simultaneously press-and-hold the Glow button (on the back of the remote control) and the OK button on the front of the remote for five seconds to pair the remote control to the console.
