Too little bass or too much treble from product | L1 Pro8 Portable Line Array System
If the sound lacks bass or has too much treble:
Try the following:
Check the bass and treble controls for your product.
Be sure the bass and treble adjustments are not set too high or too low for your preferences. For more info, see Adjusting the tone controls on your product.
Determine if the room dimensions are affecting the sound.
In larger rooms, audio might be heard differently (i.e. lower volume and bass response). If the issue is not heard in smaller rooms, different speaker placement and/or additional speakers might be needed for larger rooms.
Check the bass and treble settings on your system and the EQ on connected devices (if applicable).
If the bass and treble controls are not set properly (i.e. too high or too low), it can affect how audio sources are heard through the speaker array and the bass module. Try setting the bass and treble controls to the middle / neutral position, then try again. If the audio device connected to your system also has EQ controls, try adjusting those as well.
Check if the selected ToneMatch preset applies to the connected audio source.
ToneMatch presets optimize sound for the connected device. If there is not an exact preset for the microphone or instrument you are using, try something similar or select the Flat preset. For more info on available presets, go here and click the link under ToneMatch mixer presets and scenes.
Replace the input cables.
Try different input cables using the same source and same channel. If this solves the problem, the original cables may be defective.
Reset your product.
Much like rebooting a smartphone, your product might need to be reset on occasion to correct minor issues. For more information, see Resetting your product.
If using an external mixer, try adjusting the channel and/or master EQ controls.
If the issue is with audio sources plugged in to a mixer that is connected to your system, try adjusting channel or master EQ on the mixer. If the EQ is not set properly (i.e. too high or too low), it can affect how sound is heard from your system.
Check if a different system EQ setting sounds better.
Press the SYSTEM EQbutton to scroll through the EQ options and determine if the setting is the issue. For more into, see Adjusting the tone controls on your product.
Plug in a different audio source.
Connected a different audio source to determine if the issue is related to the source: If audio is being sent to your system from a a microphone, try a different microphone; if an instrument is connected, try a different instrument.
