Configuring your Lifestyle System | Bose Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar
If you are trying to connect Lifestyle Ultra products to other systems
This article shows how to connect your Lifestyle Ultra products together.

To wirelessly connect a subwoofer:
- Connect a Lifestyle Ultra Subwoofer to a power outlet.
- In the Bose app
, select your Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar.
- Select Configure.
- In the Home Theater Setup screen that appears, tap the + button below the Bass heading.
- When the subwoofer is found, select it to add the subwoofer to your home theater setup.
To connect a subwoofer using a wired connection:
- Connect either a Lifestyle Ultra Subwoofer or Bass Module 700 to a power outlet.
- Connect one end of a 3.5 mm audio cable to the BASS IN port on the back of the subwoofer.
- Connect the other end of the cable to the BASS port on the back of the Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar.
To connect the wireless surround speakers:
- Connect two Lifestyle Ultra Speakers to power outlets and position them behind the listening area.
- In the Bose app
, select your Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar.
- Select Configure.
- In the Home Theater Setup screen that appears, tap either of the rear + buttons.
- When the speakers are found, select one to add it to your home theater setup.
- Tap the other + button to find and add the other speaker to your setup.
- Tap the chime icon on either speaker to ensure the speakers are in the correct positions.
If the speakers are not assigned correctly, swap the speakers using the switch positions buttonshown between the two speakers.
