No Audio from TV | Bose Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar
Manually select the TV source and verify the soundbar has power.
To manually select the TV source, touch and hold the Play/Pause button on the soundbar for two seconds. The status light on the front of the soundbar should blink white twice to indicate the source has changed.
• If the status light blinks twice, the soundbar has power. Tap the Microphone Off button to be sure the soundbar can make sound.
• If the status light does not blink, check the power cord connections at both ends and verify the power outlet is working.
Check the TV Settings menu for audio routing options.
Some TVs may require a settings change to allow audio to pass through the HDMI ARC/eARC port. The settings are typically in the Audio or Setup sections of the TV's on-screen menu. Refer to your TV owners guide for more information.
Reset your soundbar.
Much like rebooting a smartphone, your product might need to be reset on occasion to correct minor issues. For more information, see Resetting your soundbar.
Reset the TV.
Disable CEC functionality of other devices connected to your TV.
Check the settings menu of devices connected to the TV (e.g. streaming media players, video game consoles) for CEC functionality and disable them. Some manufactures apply their own trademark to this functionality. A list of CEC trademarks can be found here.
