Disc tray will not close | Lifestyle® 18 Series II DVD home entertainment system
Be sure the system is able to turn on.
Try turning on the system using the remote control or the control panel. If neither method turns the system on, see Product will not turn on.
Make sure there are no homemade labels or other obstructions on the disc
The label may be detached, preventing the disc from loading properly. Try closing the tray without the disc.
Note: Do not force the tray closed, as this may damage the media center.

Check the position of the disc in the tray.
Make sure there is only one disc in the tray and that it is placed in the center of the tray.
Tray will not close when pressing the Eject button
If the disc tray is prevented from closing (i.e. partially inserted disc) and the Eject button is pressed, the tray will attempt to close but will remain open. Once the disc has been re-alighned, if Eject is pressed again, the display will indicate "Closing" but the tray will not close. Gently push the tray closed. Once enough pressure is placed on the tray, the motor should engage and the tray will close.
