There is a delay before audio is heard when switching audio sources | Lifestyle® 35 Series IV DVD home entertainment system
This is normal when listening to digital audio sources.
External digital audio devices may take up to five seconds before sound is heard.
The main room will not reacquire the digital audio signal if the expansion room switches sources or is turned off.
If an expansion room has been given priority to a digital source (internal or external) that is being played simultaneously in the main room, the main room will not try to reacquire the digital audio signal in the expansion room if the expansion room source is switched or turned off. This behavior is designed to prevent any disturbance to the main room audio caused by actions in another room
To force the main room to reacquire the digital signal, switch to a different source and back or turn the main room off and on
