To add a Deezer account, use the SoundTouch app for Android or iOS.

Deezer accounts cannot be added from the SoundTouch app for Mac or PC. Instead use the Android or iOS app to add a Deezer account. Once added, you can access Deezer from any SoundTouch app.

Be sure to enter the correct username and password for the music service.

Be sure the info you are entering to log in to your music service account is correct. Try logging in via the music service app or website; if you still cannot log in, try the password recovery option for the service.

Determine if password of the music service contains non-alphanumeric characters.

The SoundTouch App should accept the of special characters, such as (~!@#$%^&)< or >. If non-alphanumeric characters are being entered and the app is not accepting them, document in the service request those characters.

The customer may need to update the password of the music service to one with only alphanumeric characters in order for the SoundTouch App to access the music service.

Determine if the issue occurs with the service's own app or website and check the service's website for alerts.

The issue may be due to a problem with the music service itself. Close the Bose app and open the music service's app or website to determine if the issue is present using the service directly, without Bose. Additionally, check the service's website for information on maintenance or other 'service unavailable'-related messaging.

In the Bose app, remove and re-add the music service you are having issues with.

In the Bose app settings menu, remove the music service, then re-add it and try again.

Reboot your router.

Routers may need to be reset from time to time—much like rebooting a computer. Disconnect power from the router for 30 seconds, then wait for it to start up and connect. (Note: Any device connected to the Internet will be interrupted during the reset.)

Be sure the Bose app is up-to-date.

If the Bose app is not the latest version, it might be missing features or improvements. On your device, go to the app store, search for the app and select it. If an update is available, install it.

Uninstall and reinstall the Bose app.

In case an issue occurred with the app, uninstall it from your device, download and reinstall it, then try again.
