Determining the MAC address | Lifestyle® 535 series III home entertainment system

Connect the device running the app to the \"Bose SoundTouch Wi-Fi Network\" to obtain this info.

  1. Using the alternate network connectiong method, connect to the "Bose SoundTouch Wi-Fi Network." For more info, see Connecting to a Wi-Fi network
  2. Open a browser window, enter 192.168.1.1:8090/info in the address bar
  3. The following info will be shown:
    • System Name
    • System Type
    • SoundTouch Account Number
    • Firmware Version
    • SCM Serial Number
    • System Serial Number
    • SoundTouch Controller Information (if connected)
    • SCM Information (MAC Address, Serial Number)
    • SMSC Information (MAC Address, Serial Number)

Pour afficher l'adresse MAC de l'adaptateur SoundTouch :

Remarque : Il y a deux adresses MAC sfor l’adaptateur.
  1. Power on your system
  2. Sur la console du système, maintenez enfoncé le bouton Setup jusqu' à ce que l'écran System information s'affiche sur votre téléviseur
    Conseil : Si le menu système n'apparaît pas sur votre téléviseur, assurez-vous que l'entrée TV appropriée est sélectionnée
  3. Sur la télécommande, appuyez sur la flèche vers le haut pour voir l'écran d'information sur SoundTouch
    1. La ligne 5 affiche l'adresse MAC Wi-Fi
    2. La ligne  6 indique l'adresse MAC Ethernet

To obtain the MAC address of the system using a tethered USB connection, follow these steps:

This method requires a computer (PC or MAC) and will work on all SoundTouch SM1 and SM2 products. It does not require us to determine the IP address of the system on the network
  1. In the SoundTouch computer app, begin the setup process (Settings > Add or Reconnect System)
  2. When you reach the "Connect to home Wi-Fi network" screen, choose "System Information" to view the system's MAC address



To obtain the MAC address of the system using a tethered USB connection, follow these steps:

  1. Connect a USB cable from your computer to the SoundTouch system
  2. On a desktop/laptop computer, open a browser and go to http://203.0.113.1:8090/info
  3. The following info will be shown:
    1. System Name
    2. System Type
    3. SoundTouch Account Number
    4. Firmware Version
    5. SCM Serial Number
    6. System Serial Number
    7. SoundTouch Controller Information (if connected)
    8. SCM Information (MAC Address, Serial Number)
    9. SMSC Information (MAC Address, Serial Number)

Pour afficher l’adresse MAC du produit dans l’appli SoundTouch:

  1. Dans le menu de l’appli SoundTouch, touchez Réglages
    Astuce : pour ouvrir le menu de l’appli, touchez l’icône de menu ☰ dans le coin supérieur gauche
