Grouped speakers play sound out-of-sync | Lifestyle® 650 home entertainment system
If grouped sound is out-of-sync:
Try the following:
If the grouping was created in the Bose app, turn the SoundTouch speaker off then back on.
Turning the speaker off will end the group. Once the speaker is back on, create the group again in the Bose Music app.
If you want to play the same sound on all systems, use the Play Everywhere option.
Play Everywhere lets all systems on your account play the same sound in sync. When not using this option and instead selecting the same stream on each system, each system plays an independent instance of that stream, which may not play in sync. For more info, see Grouping systems.
If rebroadcasting a wired video source, use the Video Sync setting to to sync audio among the grouped systems.
If your system is the host/main system in a group of Bose speakers and it is broadcasting sound from a video source (e.g. cable box) to the group, adjust the host system sync setting in the Bose app.
Reboot your router.
Routers may need to be reset from time to time—much like rebooting a computer. Disconnect power from the router for 30 seconds, then wait for it to start up and connect. (Note: Any device connected to the Internet will be interrupted during the reset.)
