Sound does not match the input source | Lifestyle® V10 home theater system

Check to see if the coaxial input is assigned correctly.

If audio from the external device is connected using a coaxial cable, the source used for the connection must be assigned in the System menu (unless the external device is connected through the dedicated DVD coaxial jack on the V-class media center). If the assignable coaxial input is being utilized be sure it is assigned correctly. For information on how to assign the coaxial input, see Assigning the coaxial digital audio input.

Try turning off any external devices connected to the optical input.

If a device is connected via optical and is powered on, it may override or interfere with other audio sources. Turn it off and check if the audio returns to normal. If it does, the media center may require service.

See Start a Repair or Replacement at the bottom of the page to begin service.

Check if the issue is resolved when you turn off Persistent Video.

Persistent Video is available is systems with software version 020300 or higher. If turning off the Persistent Video feature temporarily resolves the issue, the system will need to be updated.

For info on adjusting the Persistent Video setting, see Setting Persistent Video.
For info on checking software, see Checking the software or firmware version.
