Too little bass or too much treble from product | Bose mobile in-ear headset

If the sound lacks bass or has too much treble:

Try the following:

Adjust bass and treble controls on the source.

Sound quality may suffer if bass and treble controls are set to extreme levels. Try adjusting the controls to mid-range levels; this may improve sound quality. Be sure to turn off both audio enhancements and special equalizer settings found on the source

Try a different app.

If the issue only occurs with a particular app, it is likely related to the app or app settings.

Remove the device from its case or protective sleeve (if applicable).

If a case or protective sleeve is on your device, try removing it to determine if it is preventing the headphones plug from making a full connection.

Check the condition of the audio connector.

Be sure there is nothing broken inside the audio connector of your device. If the connector is broken or frayed in any way see Damaged audio connector

Note: It is recommended not to wrap the headphone cord around any devices as this may cause undo stress on the cord. As an alternative please use the supplied carrying case.

Try the different eartip sizes to find the best fit.

Small, medium and large eartips are included with your product so you can find the best fit. Improperly fit earbuds can affect sound quality, including bass response. Try each of the different sizes to find the best fit. (Tip: You might need a different size eartips for your left and right ears.)

If connected, bypass any adapters or extension cables.

If your product connects to the device using an extension cable or adapter, disconnect the extension cable or adapter to determine if the issue is related to it.
