Humming, buzzing or rattling noise heard from product | QuietControl™ 30 wireless headphones
If you hear an unexpected noise from your product:
Try the following:
Determine if the rattle is from your product components of from audio playback.
If the rattle seems to come from the sound produced by your product speakers, see Poor sound quality from product. If the rattling occurs when the product is moved, check for any visible damage or loose parts.
Be sure the rattling noise is not coming from the connected device.
Loose components inside the connected device may rattle when used. Contact the device manufacturer for further help if this is the case.
Make sure the connected device is grounded.
When connected to or charging from an ungrounded device, such as a computer or TV or USB wall charger, it is possible for the headset to produce a humming sound. If possible, disconnect the device from power to eliminate this noise when listening, or find a grounded power outlet.
Reset your product.
Much like rebooting a smartphone, your product might need to be reset on occasion to correct minor issues. For more information, see Resetting your product.
