Reconnecting a Bluetooth Device | Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen)

Reconnecting a mobile device

IMPORTANT:

  • The device must be within range (30 ft or 9 m) and powered on
  • Make sure the Bluetooth feature is enabled on your mobile device
  • Make sure the Bose Earbuds are listed in the mobile device's Bluetooth pairing list

When you remove the earbuds from the case, they automatically try to reconnect to the most recently used device. If you want to connect them to a different device they’ve paired with before, switch the connection from that device’s Bluetooth settings:

  • Open the Bluetooth settings on the device you want to use (for example, your phone or computer).
  • Find the Bose earbuds in the list of paired devices and select them.
  • The earbuds will switch over and connect to this device, taking the connection away from whichever device they were previously connected to.

Select a Bluetooth® device that you previously connected from the Bose app.

When you power on your Bose product, it tries to auto-select the last connected Bluetooth device. If that device is not available and you've connected other devices, there might be a short delay while it looks for those other devices in order of last connected.

To pick a specific device, open the Bose app, select your Bose product, then tap Source. Here, you can select a Bluetooth device from your Bose product memory.

If you are unable to connect a Bluetooth® device, try our troubleshooting suggestions.
