Turning your product on or off | Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones (2nd Gen)
To power your headphones on or off:
Power on
After a few seconds, you hear a tone, and a voice prompt announces the battery level. The status light glows according to the current charge level.
- When you power on the headphones and hear the tone, the audio is personalized to your ears for the best audio performance
- The headphones must be on your head for the voice prompt to play.
Power off
Press and hold the Bluetooth/Power button until you hear a tone and the status light blinks white twice.NOTE: When the headphones are powered off, noise cancellation is disabled.Disconnecting from Devices
When you take the headphones off they’ll disconnect from your devices:- after about 3 seconds if placed flat or put in the case
- after 10 minutes if you set them down in another position
Sleep Mode
To save battery, the headphones automatically enter sleep mode:- after 20 minutes if placed flat or put in the case
- after 10 minutes in any other position
To wake them, just put them on again or press and release the Bluetooth/Power button.
Notes
- If you power the headphones off using the Bluetooth/Power button, press that same button to turn them back on.
- If the battery is completely drained, recharge the headphones and then press the Bluetooth/Power button to power on.
