Resetting your product | VideoWave® III entertainment system - 46''

Reset your control console and display panel by following these steps:

Turn the control console off
On the control console, press and hold Power for five seconds
The red LED on the control panel will turn off
Release the Power button
Press Power again, the system will reboot
Retest the system

Note: It is not necessary to remove the power cord from the control console or monitor

Reset the SoundTouch adapter.

SoundTouch settings are not lost during a reset.

On the back of the system console, disconnect the SoundTouch adapter from the Bose link and USB jacks.
Wait 1 minute, then reconnect the adapter.
Once the light glows solid on the adapter, resume normal use.

Advanced Troubleshooting

If the standard reset does not resolve your issue, try the Factory Reset/Default

To restore the factory default settings:

Note: With the exception of the ADAPTiQ audio calibration settings, this reset erases all settings and returns your system to its default out-of-box state.

Power off your system.
On the back of the system console, disconnect the power cord.
On the front of the system console, simultaneously press and hold the Source and the Volume - buttons and, while holding them, reconnect the power cord.
Continue holding the buttons until the Bose logo appears twice on the TV screen.
Re-pair the remote control with your system. For more info, see Pairing the remote control to your system.

To restore the factory default settings of the SoundTouch adapter:

Note: This reset erases all settings and returns your product to its default out-of-box state. Once reset, open the SoundTouch app to reconfigure your product.

Turn on your system
On the back of the system console, disconnect the SoundTouch adapter from the Bose link and USB jacks
If connected, disconnect the Ethernet cable from the adapter
On the back of the adapter, press and hold the Control button and, while holding it, reconnect the Bose link cable to the console
When the light on the pedestal begins blinking white (about five seconds), release the Control button
Reconnect the USB cable to the console
Wait until the light on the adapter is solid amber. (Note: While resetting, the light will change colors and blink patterns for up to 4 minutes)
If previously connected, reconnect the Ethernet cable
