Make sure the charger is connected to power.
You should hear a confirmation tone once connected to power.
Reseat the USB charging cable.
If LED remains red while charging, unplug and re-plug the charging cable from the USB port.
Try a different USB cable.
Try connecting your product with a different USB cable to determine if there is an issue with the first cable.
Check if the connected power outlet is working.
When connected to power, your product plays a tone. If you plug in but don't hear a tone, try plugging in another device (i.e. a lamp) to the same power outlet to confirm the outlet works.
Update your system software.
Product updates keep your system working at its best. For more info, see Updating the software or firmware of your product.
Send the customer a Bose power supply
Non-Bose power supplies could potentially cause the product to not accept a charge. Send the customer a Bose power supply (model number PSA05F) to use with the product. Be sure to include the applicable AC clips in the order for customers outside North America.
