Charging the battery | Bose SoundLink Mini II
To charge the battery:
- Connect the power supply from the USB connector on the charging cradle to an AC (mains) outlet
- Place the speaker on top of the cradle: The battery light blinks yellow while charging and glows solid green when charged.
Tip: Be sure the connectors on the bottom of the product are aligned to those on the cradle.
Typically, the battery will fully charge in about 3 hours; this varies depending on the charge level, if the product is in use while charging, and the charger used. In some cases, it can take up to 10 hours to fully charge.
Plugging in overnight will not overcharge the battery
Lithium batteries have a built-in auto-off feature when a full charge is reached to prevent the battery from being overcharged. Even while still plugged in, the battery level will have to drop below a certain point to trigger the charging again.
