Product does not power on with battery power | SoundLink® Wireless Mobile speaker
Use only the Bose power supply intended for your product.
It is recommended to use only the Bose power supply included with your product. Using a third party power supply is not recommended. If it is necessary to connect a third party power supply, however, be sure the specs on the power supply match the power requirement found in your product specs.
Be sure the cover is open.
The speaker will turn off 30 seconds after the cover is closed. Be sure the cover is open when listening to the speaker.
Connect the product to AC power.
If the product is disconnected from AC power and unused for 7 days or more, it enters a protection mode to preserve battery power. This is typically the case with brand new products removed from the box. To reactivate the speaker, connect it to AC power. Be sure to use the Bose power supply that came with the speaker.
Check if the battery is charged.
Be sure the battery is not depleted. For more information, see Checking the remaining battery charge.
Check if tones are heard when you unplug and plug in the power cord.
When unplugging, a tone should play on the left side. When plugging it back in, a tone should play on the right side. If you don’t hear these tones, the speaker may need service.
Reset your product.
Much like rebooting a smartphone, your product might need to be reset on occasion to correct minor issues. For more info, see Resetting your product.
