Short battery life | Bose SoundControl™ Hearing Aids
Be sure to open the battery doors on your hearing aids when not using them.
When batteries are inserted and the battery doors are closed on your hearing aids, they are powered on. To power them off and stop using battery power, just open the battery doors.
Before inserting new batteries, be sure to fully activate them.
When you first peel off the sticker from a new zinc-air battery and insert it in your hearing aid, don't immediately close the battery door. Instead, leave the battery in your hearing aid with the battery door open for 5 minutes. This exposes the battery to air, which allows it to fully activate.
The batteries will discharge within about 10 days after removing the sticker.
The zinc-air batteries used by your product have stickers on them when new. Once you remove a sticker from a battery, that battery is activated. Even when ununsed, activated batteries will discharge within about 10 days. So, be sure to remove the stickers from new batteries only when you are ready to use them.
