Software or firmware update will not install | Bose SoundControl™ Hearing Aids

Be sure both hearing aids are detected by the Bose Hear app.
Your hearing aids might show up in the Bluetooth® menu of your device even if they are not detected by the Bose Hear app. Open the Bose Hear app, go to Menu (☰) > SETTINGS > Product Info. If N/A appears next to Right or Left, the app can't find that hearing aid. For more info, see Bose Hear app does not detect product.
Uninstall and reinstall the Bose app.
In case an issue occurred with the app, uninstall it from your device, download and reinstall it, then try again.
While using the app, try keeping your product within 6 feet (1.8 m) of the device running the Bose app.
While making changes to your product using the Bose app, keep your product close by the device you are trying to connect.
Try keeping the app in the foreground on your device until the update is installed.
If the update fails, keep the mobile device from entering sleep mode while updating. Additionally, keep the Bose app open and visible until the update completes.
In the Bluetooth® settings of the device, remove your product, reconnect it, then try the update again.
In the Bluetooth settings of a device, there is typically list of previously-connected products. Find your product in this list and choose to remove or forget it. After, reconnect the device to your product and try the update again.
Replace the batteries.
Remove the batteries from you product, then insert new batteries. Check that the + and – markings on the batteries match the markings in the battery compartment. (Note: Rechargeable batteries are not recommended. Use alkaline batteries when possible.)
Try using a different device to install the update.
If you have another device, try installing the Bose app, connecting your product, and updating from that device.
