Changing the voice prompt language | SoundWear™ Companion® speaker
Pre-installed Voice Prompt Languages
English • German • Korean • Swedish • Polish • Spanish • Mandarin • Italian • Dutch • French • Japanese • Portuguese • Russian
Select a voice prompt language.
If powering on your system for the first time, use the Volume + and Volume – buttons to scroll through the available languages, then press and hold the Multi-function ![\"icon\"]()
button when the desired language is heard. You can change the language after at any time using the instructions below.
- Press and hold the Multi-function
button and Volume + buttons at the same time until you hear a voice prompt for the first language option
- Press Volume + or Volume – to scroll through the available languages (English, Japanese, Dutch, Spanish, Korean, Danish, French, Arabic, Norwegian, German, Italian, Finnish, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian, Cantonese, Swedish or Polish)
- When you hear the desired language, press and hold the center Multi-function
button to select it.
To select a product voice prompt language using the Bose Connect app:
- Open the app and wait while it searches for available Bose Bluetooth® products
- Tap the Settings icon to view your product settings
Tip: If you have more than one Bose Bluetooth product, swipe left or right to find it, then tap Settings
- Tap Voice Prompt Language
- Select a language.
