Connecting other devices to your system | Bose Solo 10 TV sound system
To connect audio using an RCA cable:
Connect an RCA cable from the audio output jacks on the device to the RCA jacks on your system. (Tip: The output jacks on your device might be labeled Audio Out, TV Out, Monitor Out, or something similar.)
To connect a device using a digital optical cable:
Connect an optical cable from the optical jack on the device to the Optical IN jack on your system console.
Tip: You might need to open the menu of the connected device and enable optical audio before you hear sound.

To connect a device that does not have an analog RCA or digital audio output:
If the TV or device you are trying to connect does not have an audio output connection, look for a headphone jack. If available, use a 3.5 mm stereo-to-dual RCA adapter cable to connect the device headphone jack to your Bose system.
If the device does not have a headphone jack either, it cannot send audio to another system—like your Bose system. In this case, connect the output of the audio source (i.e. the cable box or DVD player) to the Bose system. (Note: If there is more than one audio source, an audio selector box can be added to switch between sources).
