Bose Surround Speakers 700 | Difficulty connecting the surround speakers wirelessly
Be sure the system is able to turn on.
Try turning on the system using its remote control. If system fails to power on, see Product will not turn on.Be sure the L and R switches are set properly on the wireless receivers.
On each receiver, be sure the L/R (left/right) switch is set appropriately. One receiver must be set to Left and the other to Right; the receivers will not work if they are set the same. Toggle the switch of the receiver to be sure it is fully set to the L or R position.Check the color of the status LED located on the front of each rear speaker receiver.
If the LED is solid white, it is connected properly. If the LED shows another status, see Understanding LED indicator status lights and information for more info.Reset the wireless receivers by performing these steps:
- Turn off the system.
- Disconnect the power cords from both rear speaker receivers. Wait 30 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cords to each receiver.
- Turn the system back on and confirm the status LED on the receiver turn on and stays white which indicates it has connected to a soundbar or control console.
