SoundTouch® 30 wireless speaker | SoundTouch app will not install

Determine if the proper file type was downloaded for the computer operating system in use.

  1. A file ending with a .msi extenstion will not run on a Mac


  • A file ending with a .dmg extension will not run on a Windows PC

If the wrong file type was download, delete the file and return to the Bose website to download the appropriate version of the app. If the site only provides one "Download Now" button, click the View All link underneath the button to show the three Download Now button options. Select the one that corresponds to the computer's operating system.

Plusieurs versions du système d'exploitation Mac ne permettent pas d'identifier Bose comme développeur. La version de Mountain Lion d'OS X (10,8) comprend une fonction appelée Gatekeeper pour protéger les utilisateurs de l'installation d'applications de développeurs non identifiés par Apple.   1. Maintenez la touche contrôle enfoncée tout en cliquant sur l'icône de l'application
    Remarque : N'utilisez pas le Launchpad pour ce faire. Launchpad ne vous permet pas d'accéder au menu de raccourcis
     
  2. Dans le menu qui s'affiche, sélectionnez ouvrir au haut de la liste
     
  3. Une fenêtre de confirmation s'affiche. Sélectionnez ouvrir

Have the user log in to the computer as the Administrator to install the app.

The user account used to log in to the computer may have restricted access to the folder where the installer file is located. If unable to log into the Admin account, try downloading the install file to a folder that the user's acount is able to access

Be sure the device being used meets the minimum supported system requirements.

Check the product documentation for compatible operating systems.

Redémarrez l'ordinateur.

For Windows 7, 8, or 10, set the permissions of C:\Windows\temp to "Full control".

Change the folder permissions using the instructions below. Then try the installation again.
  1. Go to C:\Windows
  2. Right-click the "temp" folder and choose Properties
  3. On the "Sercurity" tab, click "Edit"
  4. For "Full control," check "Allow"
  5. Choose "Apply," then "OK"
