Sound is not heard from all speakers | SoundTouch® 300 soundbar
If you do not hear sound from a bass module connected to your system, here are some suggestions.
Try the following
While audio is playing, check if the light on the bass module is white or amber.
- If the light is amber, the bass module is not connected to the soundbar. For more info, see Connecting the wireless surround speakers.
- If the light is white but no sound is produced by the bass module, be sure your system is up-to-date. For more info, see Updating the software or firmware of your product.
Connect the bass module using a wired connection.
A wired connection can be used when a wireless connection is not possible or reliable. The 15 foot (4.5 meter) long Acoustimas Module Interconnect cable is available to connect the bass module to the soundbar.
For issues with DVDs, try a different audio track (if available).
Some DVDs have multiple audio tracks available in the DVD audio/sound menu. In the DVD menu, select a different audio track and listen for differences.
Run the ADAPTiQ audio calibration to optimize the sound of your system.
Since different environments affect how sound is heard, use ADAPTiQ can calibrate you system. It listens to how your speakers sound in your room, then adjusts the sound as needed to optimize sound quality. For more info, see ADAPTiQ system setup and deactivation.
