Enabling low power standby mode | Bose Videobar VB1

Enable or disable low power mode using one of the three methods below.

When enabled, the device enters low power consumption (standby) mode after being idle for two hours.

Connect your computer to the USB-C to PC port on the videobar.
Open the Videobar Configuration application.
Click on the Administration icon in the lower left corner.
Enter the administrator password and click on the Sign In button. The factory default administrator password is Bose123!.
Click on the Configuration tab on the left.
Once you’re in the Configuration tab select System.
Use the toggle to enable or disable the setting.

Note: The videobar and computer must be connected to the same network

Determine the IP address for your product.
On a computer, open an Internet browser and type the IP address for your product.
Enter the administrator password and click on the Sign In button. The factory default administrator password is Bose123!.
Click on the Configuration tab on the left.
Once you’re in the Configuration tab select System.
Use the toggle to enable or disable the setting.

Note: The videobar and computer must be connected to the same network

Open the Videobar Administration application.
All VB1 systems that are connected to the same network as the computer will be displayed in the Device List.
Select the check box to the left of the device name for the system(s) you want to adjust.
Once selected, you’ll be presented with the Configuration panel.
Scroll down to view the low power mode setting.
Use the toggle to enable or disable the setting.
