Determine if the issue is only occurring with a USB-to-Bluetooth audio adapter connected to a computer.

If the static, crackling, or distortion occurs every 30 seconds (or intermittently) and it only happens when using USB Bluetooth audio adapter connected to a computer, try another USB port on the computer and be sure the computer's operating system is up-to-date with all service packs installed.

Reset your product.

Much like rebooting a smartphone, your product might need to be reset on occasion to correct minor issues. For more information, see Resetting your product.

Reboot the Bluetooth® device.

Electronics, such as cell phones, tablets or computers, might need to be reset on occasion to correct minor issues. This is typically done by shutting down the device, then powering it on again.

Try connecting a different audio device.

If available, connect another audio device using the same cables and connections to determine if the issue is related to the first device or its settings.

Try relocating the Wave system to another area and power outlet.

Other electronics can cause interference affecting your Wave system if they're on the same power circuit or nearby. Try moving the Wave system away from (or unplug the power to) such devices like chargers, old electronics, holiday lights, or microwaves. If that helps, plug the Wave system (or the device causing the problem) into a different power outlet, or move them farther apart.
