Cannot find the MAC address of the system | Wave® SoundTouch® music system
To obtain the MAC address of the SoundTouch pedestal, perform the set up using a computer to view the address.
Open the SoundTouch app on a computer and follow the set up instructions. Once the "Connect to Home Wi-Fi Network" screen is shown, "System Information" will appear below "Manually Connect to Another Network". Clicking on this text will reveal the system's MAC address.

To view the product MAC address in the SoundTouch app:
- In the SoundTouch app menu, tap Settings
Tip: to open the app menu, tap the menu icon ☰ in the upper-left
- Tap About, then select a system
The Speaker Details screen shows info for the selected system.
If the system cannot be set up and the router has MAC filtering enabled:
- Try the alternate network connection method. For more info, see Connecting to a Wi-Fi network.
- On the mobile device, open a web browser to 192.168.1.1:8090/info . Both of the SoundTouch system's MAC addresses will be listed on the text page that opens near the bottom.
- Log into the router. If there are issues logging in, see Unable to log in to router.
- Temporarily disable MAC filtering.
- Complete initial SoundTouch set up.
- Identify the SoundTouch system's MAC addresses using the above method.
- In the router, re-enable MAC filtering.
- Add the SoundTouch system's MAC addresses to the router.
