Remote backlight is too bright or too dim | Lifestyle® V25 home entertainment system
Adjust the brightness setting for the remote.
To adjust the backlight brightness, see Adjusting the display brightness.
The default contrast settings may be incorrect.
If the contrast seems set incorrectly, change the default contrast level of the remote by following these steps:
- On the remote, press and hold the More, Image View and 0 buttons until “Manufacturing Test” appears on the remote display. This should take about 2 seconds
- Press OK once – "Manufacturing Test" will move to the top line of the display and "Draw Checker Board" will display on the bottom line
- Press the Down arrow 3 times until "Factory Contrast" appears
- Press OK once – "Factory Contrast" will move to the top line of the display and a series of numbers will appear on the bottom line in the format of "0000003a"
- Press Down about 26 times or until the default level of “00000020” appears
- Press Exit to exit the manufacturing test
