Check the volume level of the Bose system.

Be sure the system volume is not turned down. Using the volume control, gradually increase the volume level.

Reset your product.

Much like rebooting a smartphone, your product might need to be reset on occasion to correct minor issues. For more information, see Resetting your product.

Try connecting an audio device to the AUX input on the back of the system.

The 1/8" (3.5 mm) AUX input on the back of your speaker allows you to connect a variety of audio devices. Once connected, press the AUX button and play something on the device. If it plays as expected, the issue is related to wireless audio.

Connect the product to AC power.

If the speaker is disconnected from AC power and unused for 14 days or more, it enters a protection mode to preserve battery power. This is typically the case with new products removed from the box. To reactivate the speaker, connect it to AC power.
